From the Room · Grounding
A five-minute grounding practice
· 3 minute read
Grounding sounds grand, but most of the time it just means coming back to where you actually are. This is one I share with people at the end of a session so they have something to take home.
- 1Sit or stand with both feet flat on the floor.
- 2Notice five things you can see, slowly.
- 3Press your feet down gently and feel the ground press back.
- 4Breathe out for longer than you breathe in, five times.
- 5Before you move on, name one thing you're looking forward to today.
That's it. No candles required — though I won't stop you.
