Behind the treatment: preparing the room
· 4 minute read
Before anyone arrives, I spend a little time getting the room ready. Some of it is practical — fresh linen, the heater on, oils set out. Some of it is less easy to explain.
I open the window for a few minutes, even in winter. I light a candle. I take a breath and put my own day down, so that when you walk in, the room is ready for yours.
The treatment starts before you arrive. It's in how the room feels when you do.
